I have a Consew 18 and I cannot figure out how to thread the machine, and the bobben has a hole in the stem as if the tread it. If anyone knows how and would like to share, thank you.

I have a Chicago Electric Industrial Sewing Machine – single needle and I keep breaking the thread. Can anyone help. The directions in the manual are difficult, but the video did help even though it was another machine. Thank you.
